Poetry can be part of our everyday home life.” Poetry isn’t just for homework or something that is studied in school. “I think this series hits home that poets are people, and poetry is for everyone. “The series is geared toward people who may have never attended poetry readings before, might feel intimidated by the setting, or may be physically unable to attend due to disability,” said Sadie Shorr-Parks, adjunct professor of English and society director. The readings, which will be released on Fridays, can be found on the society’s webpage.
